At Raw African Safaris, we are committed to providing outstanding services to our clients. However, if a booking is canceled, either in part or entirely, by you or on your behalf, Raw African Safaris reserves the right to apply charges. These may include service, administrative, communication, and cancellation fees, along with any supplier-imposed charges related to the cancellation.

Cancellation and Refund Terms

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility is determined by the notice period given before the scheduled departure date:

60 days or more: A refund of 70% of the total confirmed booking cost will be issued.
31 to 59 days: A refund of 50% of the total confirmed booking cost will be issued.
30 days or less: No refund will be provided, and the full booking cost will be retained.
Airline Ticket Refunds
Cancellations involving airline tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific airline based on the selected fare type. Refunds for such cancellations may take a minimum of 8 weeks to process. Raw African Safaris will work to facilitate these refunds but will only issue them once received from the airline.

Payment Delays and Booking Termination
Raw African Safaris reserves the right to cancel any booking where payments are overdue. In such cases, the outstanding balance will become immediately payable.

Notice Period Calculation
The cancellation notice period is calculated from the date Raw African Safaris receives the written cancellation request to the scheduled start date of travel, excursions, or activities, whichever applies.

Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued for clients who arrive early, late, or fail to attend their booking. Additionally, if a trip or activity is ended early by the client for any reason after it has begun, no refund will be granted unless prior written approval is obtained from Raw African Safaris.
