Our family had an incredible experience with Raw African Safari during our first visit to Cape Town. From start to finish, the team was absolutely amazing. The tour guides were patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating, always making sure we were comfortable and getting the most out of every moment. They were able to get our tickets ahead of time so we avoided the crowds. All we had to do was show up, get to sites and enjoy. From Boulder Beach to Table Mountain- the visits were seamless.

While all of the guides were fantastic, we were lucky enough to have Darlington for most of our tours, and he made them unforgettable. His knowledge, kindness, and sense of humor made every day even more enjoyable. By the end of the trip, he honestly felt like part of the family.

If you’re visiting Cape Town and looking for a tour company you can trust, I would highly recommend Raw African Safari. And if you can, make sure to ask for Darlington — he will make your experience truly special.

I participated in the safari tour with Remy, and I want to begin by saying the safari itself was a beautiful and memorable experience. It was truly special, and Remy was knowledgeable during the tour.

Unfortunately, my experience afterward was very disappointing due to how Remy handled my personal belongings and the repeated pressure to leave reviews.

I accidentally left my makeup bag in Remy’s vehicle and was told it would be returned to me. In the days and weeks that followed, Remy repeatedly messaged me asking me to post reviews. I eventually did post the requested reviews, but the communication remained focused on confirming the reviews rather than arranging the return of my belongings.

I also want to be transparent that Remy asked me to post reviews for multiple experiences, even though I only participated in the safari tour. In addition, my friend was asked by Remy to leave a review despite not attending any excursions. Because of this, I have since deleted the other reviews I posted, as they were not authentic to my actual experience.

Despite posting the reviews as requested, Remy never returned my makeup bag, and I never received my belongings back.

While the safari itself was wonderful, the pressure from Remy to leave reviews for experiences I did not attend, along with the fact that my personal belongings were never returned, made the overall experience feel unprofessional and uncomfortable.

I believe reviews should reflect honest experiences, and I hope future guests do not experience similar issues.

Visiting Table Mountain was one of the highlights of my trip. Remi from Raw Tours took us, and he made the whole experience feel easy and personal. He was very accommodating, relaxed, and shared so much information about South Africa along the way.

The cable car ride up was incredible, and the views at the top were unreal. You can see the entire city, ocean, and mountains. It was peaceful and unforgettable.

Helpful tip: Go early and bring a jacket because it gets windy at the top.

I did a safari with Raw Tours and our guide Remi made the entire day unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and excited for what was ahead. His energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for what he does made everything feel so special.

Remi didn’t just drive us from place to place. He made sure we understood what we were seeing, took his time with us, and made the whole experience feel personal instead of rushed. You can tell he truly cares about people having a meaningful experience.

The safari itself was surreal, but having Remi as our guide is what made it life-changing. I will never forget this day.

If you are visiting Cape Town, you absolutely have to book with Raw Tours and ask for Remi. He is the best.

I had the pleasure of doing several tours with the Raw team and each was a pleasure. Remmy is a fountain of cultural, historic, and geographical knowledge about Capetown and its surroundings.

We had a great experience with Remmy. Our flight was delayed and Remmy accommodated everything that we expected in our tour even though we were late. We had a subsequent experience with his team and they also accommodated some changes that we requested. I would highly recommend this very skilled and knowledgeable tour company.

We had such a pleasant and memorable experience of the Cape Winelands, we had the best of times and enjoyed scenic views with a great tour guide Mr Remigious Tsuro to be exact! He is well vested, passionate and definately making waves in the tourism fraternity!
